Mike Alsmeyer, First Shift Supervisor
Mike joined the ESS team after 30 years in the restaurant and service industries. As First Shift Supervisor, he is responsible for supervision of day porters and 1st shift project work. When he is not at work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Sherri, his stepdaughters, Heather and Brooke, and his four grandchildren. Mike also plays guitar and he enjoys grilling and bike riding.

Brittany Babbs, Area Manager
Brittany has been with ESS Clean since February of 2009 and in her current position of Area Manager since February of 2010. Brittany is from Newton, IL and loves spending time with her two boston terriers, her son, Tucker, and her husband, Jeremy. Her other hobbies include fishing and playing/watching a variety of sports. Brittany is also working on her Associates Degree at Lincoln Trail College.

Lorianne Bauer, PHR, HR & Safety Director
Lorianne joined the ESS Team in 2012 after twelve years in the staffing business, serving clients including Procter & Gamble, Amazon, Plastipak and Solo Cup. Lorianne has a passion for community service and has been involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and Eastern Illinois Foodbank. She is also a licensed Foster Parent. Lorianne has earned the designation of PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and is excited about implementing new motivational and training programs at ESS.

Alice Coffey, Office Manager
Alice joined the ESS Team in February 2016 as Office Manager and enjoys every minute of it. Alice loves helping employees and customers with their needs. According to Alice, “It feels good when I sense a smile over the phone or see one in person.” Alice relocated to Urbana from the suburbs of Chicago along with her husband Ray and her three sons: Ray, Jr., Anthony, and Fredrick. When not on the clock, you can find Alice spending time with her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Madyson and Joseph, aka JoJo.

Kevin Copass, Bloomington Branch Manager
Kevin Copass joined the ESS Team in September, 2007, as Bloomington Branch Manager. Kevin was born in Homer, IL. He currently resides in Normal, IL with his wife of 20 years and their four children. Kevin has 14 years management experience ranging from food processing to distribution of children's books. Kevin and his wife Jody have been foster parents for 11 years. When he's not working or attending one of the many activities his kids are involved in, Kevin enjoys running, biking and vegetable gardening. Kevin recently became certified as a Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC).

Sarah Dhom, Area Manager
Sarah has been with ESS since November of 2014 and became a part-time Area Manager for the Effingham Branch in July, 2015. She came to ESS with previous management experience from the food and service industries. She lives in rural Jasper County with her husband Marc. She has 2 sons, Maeson and Maddox (Max), along with 2 stepchildren, Elianna and Fletcher. Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, taking care of her animals, and gardening.

Julianna Huck, Employment Manager
Julianna, who also goes by “Julie” joined the ESS Team in 2015 as Employment Manager. She has over twenty years of experience in Human Resources, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Merchandising with minors in Business Administration and Marketing. Julianna has lived in Arizona, California, Tennessee, Indiana and Illinois. She loves traveling, flower gardening, crafts, decorating, reading and movies. When she is not working, Julie likes to visit her three brothers and five nieces and nephews.

Ron LaVallie, Branch Manager
Ron is our Branch Manager for the Effingham & Mattoon areas. Ron has lived in Newton for 20 years with his wife, Pam, of 37 years. The LaVallies have three children and three grandchildren. Ron has spent 35 years in the restaurant business, as a District Manager and General Manager. Ron enjoys spending time with his family and is a Nascar fan. He also enjoys golf and motorcycling.

Bob Montieth, Branch Manager
After 15 years managing a hotel in Decatur, Bob joined the ESS Team in 2010. He is currently Branch Manager of Decatur. Bob has a B.S. in Hotel Management from Purdue University. He has been married since 2003 and has two stepchildren. Bob has been instrumental in a new project to feed the homeless in Decatur. When he is not working, volunteering or spending time with his family, Bob enjoys studying Astronomy and Genealogy.

Tony Neal, Area Manager
Tony is from the Champaign, Urbana area and has been with ESS since November 1999. Tony has been in the cleaning industry for over 20 years supervising contract cleaning and clinical cleaning operations. He recently achieved Commercial Carpet Maintenance Certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC). Tony's hobbies include sports, sports and more sports. Any sport, anytime. He also enjoys shooting pool and fishing.

Bob Odell, Area Manager
Bob Odell joined the ESS Team in 2010 as Assistant Site Manager. He was promoted to Area Manager in 2011. Bob has spent a majority of his career in management, including twelve years in swine farm management, and ten years in manufacturing supervision. Born in Paxton, IL, Bob has lived in Illinois his entire life. He has been married to Christina for eighteen years and has two teen-age boys, Tyler and Chase. Bob enjoys spending time with family and his interests include American history, politics, gardening, Christian outreach and Chief Illiniwek.

Rex Roberts, Area Manager
Rex joined the ESS Clean team in 2012 and became area manager for the Bloomington/Peoria area this past March. Rex is the proud dad of four grown daughters and grandfather of two grandchildren. His hobbies include reading a good book, watching movies, and going for long hikes.

Debra Robinson, Area Manager
After receiving her Masters Degree in Education in 2004 from Southern Illinois University, Debra became a youth instructor. She joined the ESS Team in 2012 and was quickly promoted to Area Manager. In her free time, Debra enjoys reading, walking, dancing and spending time with family and freinds. Debra looks forward to providing the best quality of service to customers and support to the ESS Team.

Jacob Shaw, Operations Manager
Jacob came to ESS Clean with fifteen years of experience in Purchasing and Marketing. Jacob grew up in in the Champaign/Urbana area, graduating from Centennial High School and earning a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois. Unfortunately, Jacob is a huge Buckeye fan! He enjoys hiking, camping, grilling, and of course, watching The Ohio State football and basketball teams. Jacob is married with two daughters who both play softball and piano (not at the same time).

Linda Soule, Area Manager
Linda has been in the cleaning business most of her life in one way or another. She joined ESS after six years as a retail floor technician and is currently Area Manager for Urbana. Linda and Michael have two boys, Christopher and Cody and a girl, Jordan. They enjoy outdoor activities together, and Linda especially loves sports, cooking, and baking.

Tracy Sowers, Area Manager
Tracy has been working in the contract cleaning industry for the past 25 years, 23 of those in management. She joined the ESS team as Area Manager in 2012. Tracy grew up in Urbana, IL. She enjoys spending time with her family (including “Elvis”, her 135 lb. black Labrador). She also loves fishing, swimming and gardening.

Paul Taylor, President
Paul has been with ESS since 1995. Paul has an Engineering degree from the U of I. He has earned the designation of Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) from the BSCAI, Green Cleaning Professional from ISSA, LEED Green Associate from the USGBC and is a Certified Workplace Trainer for Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Paul is involved in the community as a member of Savoy Rotary, mentor for "TALKS" Mentoring, member of Savoy United Methodist Church and Community Coordinator for Financial Peace University. Paul likes to spend time with his wife, Andrea, and daughters Grace, Olivia and Laura. He also enjoys fishing, camping, skiing, running, biking and swimming.

Peggy Tobin, Accountant
At ESS, we do our best to keep our Accountant’s head spinning with new contracts, employee benefits and programs. Fortunately, Peggy cannot easily be undone. Peggy has an Accounting Certificate and has spent the last twenty eight years in the Accounting field. Peggy is from Farmer City, where she lives with her husband Paul. With her two kids in college at SIU, Peggy and Paul spend their time outdoors gardening, reading, throwing darts, and sitting around the fire pit.

Brian Vasquenz, Area Manager
Brian started working at ESS as an Area Manager in 2012. He was born in Baltimore (he's an Orioles fan) and grew up in Bloomington. Although he has studied History and Human Biology, Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at Illinois State University and a Master of Divinity degree from ORU. He lives in an 1892 Victorian house, so Brian and his wife spend many weekends finishing projects in the house as well as their gardens. Brian is married with three children; his oldest is serving in the Marine Corps and two are still at home. When he's not working on his house or at ESS, Brian enjoys time with his family, reading, cooking, hand sharpening knives, riding bicycles and cracking whips (no kidding!).
