ESS Clean, Inc. has been selected as the winner of this year’s BSCAI Arthur C. Barraclough Company Community Service Award.  This award is a testament to ESS Clean, Inc.’s dedication to its community service programs. It is also in recognition of the community service of ESS Clean, Inc.’s dedicated employees.

Paul Taylor, President of ESS Clean, will be accepting the award in late October at the BSCAI National Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The award includes a $1,000 check to the charity of choice. ESS Clean has chosen the Eastern Illinois Foodbank as the recipient of the $1,000 donation.

“ESS Clean, Inc. has been in business for twenty years, and since the beginning, serving the community has been a priority.  Eight years ago, ESS created the Five Stones Foundation to award college scholarships annually to employees and their children. Thirty-two scholarships have been awarded since 2009.  Last year, ESS was made aware of a need for a women’s prison ministry in Champaign.  ESS selected this ministry for their annual community service project and the ESS team rallied to renovate a flooded house to be used as a women’s shelter.  ESS Clean, Inc. is proud of their team and honored to receive the Arthur Barraclough Award for Community Service.”  says Paul Taylor in response to learning ESS Clean was bestowed with the honor of this award.
